Here is what some of our past and current partners have said about our Outreach services:

” I am writing on behalf of The Helen Wright Center for Women.  The Helen Wright Center is a homeless shelter for single women in Raleigh, North Carolina.  I would like to take this opportunity to commend Community Education Services Inc. (CESI) for their dedication to our population.   A lack of financial literacy is a consistent barrier for those seeking to bring themselves out of homelessness.  By teaching our clients the skills necessary to obtain and maintain permanent housing, we are not only educating, but also empowering them to succeed.  The Financial Literacy course taught by CESI plays a large role in moving women at the Helen Wright Center into self-sufficiency.  CESI is certainly an invaluable partner to our clients, our agency, and our community. “

” StepUP Ministry, a Wake County non-profit serving over 500 people a year in job and life skills services, began partnering with CESI in 2009 and the results have been tremendous.  First, the quality of our Financial Literacy class has been enhanced.  Second, the CESI staff is professional and very knowledgeable in the area of financial literacy and money management.  Third, the CESI staff has the unique ability to engage and connect with the population we serve.  Finally, CESI has been very helpful in educating our participants on credit and debt issues. “

“I would love to send you a letter of recommendation on behalf of the Literacy Council of Wake County. CESI did great work for our students by providing Financial Literacy Classes once a week that contained relevant and important information concerning our students’ financial situation.

The lectures were professional but not intimidating and students felt that they were able to ask questions. All questions were answered in a fashion that made them understandable, even to those who had very little financial or economic knowledge.

The speakers were always friendly and professional. And we certainly enjoyed working with everyone at CESI. Again, we would recommend their services, which I think should be utilized by more organizations wishing to share financial knowledge with their clients. We had a great experience with CESI and would look forward to working with them again.”
