If you have steady income and are having difficulty making payments on your unsecured debt, you may be eligible to enroll in a debt management program. To get started and find out your new estimated monthly payment amounts, you will need to have your creditors' account numbers, as well as your current payment amounts and outstanding balances. The application process is broken into five sections that can be completed in any order.
- For best results, complete the menu items in order! Once you begin enrollment, use the Next/Save button at the bottom right of the screen to proceed to the next screen.
- Complete Your Personal Profile - At this point you will be assigned a Consumer Education Services ID and Username.
- Enter Accounts: These are the accounts you wish to include in your Debt Management Program.
- Set Up a Budget: This step is useful for getting a better picture of your household expenses and is required by creditors. Don’t panic – we promise to make it simple for you!
- Set Up Automatic Payment: This is how you will make your one consolidated monthly payment which we will disperse to all your creditors.
- Review Your Info and Submit It: It’s as simple as that!
